The Rotary Club Presentation
Last week I gave a 30 minutes talk to the local Rotary club on the subject of Enduro Africa. I had one or two problems with the technology, which given my background is not good!
First problem was that the embedded videos would not play automatically but had to be attempted several time.
The second was with sound, I had agreed to use somebody else's speakers but when I started playing the video there was no sound so I switched to my own iPod speakers. Still no sound, but I noticed I had turned mute on, turned it off and there was sound, but it was too quiet for the size of the room, so I switched speakers and it was OK.

The presentation itself went well and I have had lots of useful feedback so I can improve it. Things such as saying what £10 means it terms of people visited and miles covered, etc. Also some offers of assistance.
I am going to contact other Rotary clubs in the area to offer to give the same talk, I think a big part of what we are doing is communication.
